A Polka Dot Pendrell Blouse

I absolutely love princess seamed tops and dresses and the flutter sleeves on this blouse sealed the deal for me when I was deciding if I wanted to purchase it.

I had bought 4 yards of these Amy Butler polka dots during a sale at Grey’s just because I liked them and they were on sale. Even though this blouse doesn’t recommend using quilting weight cotton I decided to use it anyway just to work on getting the fit right. it was a pretty good fit but a tad too big and a tad too long so I altered the pattern pieces to be shorter but decided to just use a larger seam allowance on the princess seams.

Come back soon to read about my version using rayon challis that is pretty dreamy!
